Experiencing Heavy Bleeding During Intercourse Post Gall Bladder Surgery
I m 38. I had my gallbladder surgery last year in November. From that point on. I have experienced heavy bleeds after inter course. My husband works away, so of course when he s home we have intercourse. It hasn t happened everytime. But it has happened more frequently. I am experiencing having a menstral cycle at the beginning of the month. Lasts 3-7 days. Some normal flow. Other months very heavy with clots. I am also experiencing hot flashes, hair growth on my face, and horrible PMS. Recently I have experienced bleeding after inter course maybe that evening and it stops. Or I spot some the next day. It stops. A week and a half later. Husband comes home, have sex no bleeding. No pain. After sex ever. Having in between bleeding between menstral periods. My family history of this perimenapause is common. Just want to make sure I m taking the proper steps. Made an appointment for my gyno may 19th. If I m bleeding, should I still go?

There is no relation between cholecystectomy and P/V bleeding after intercourse. Bleeding after sexual intercourse is quite common and obvious. Sometimes menopause occurs in an early age, maybe you are going through the perimenopausal stage as the symptoms you mentioned are suggesting of the same, but I suggest you go for a USG pelvis and a pap smear to be more clear about your symptoms.
