Experiencing Rapid Heart Rate, Difficulty Breathing. BP Meds Changed From Lisinopril To Hydralazine. Is That A Cause ?
Hi im experiencing rapid heart rate and difficutly breathing not sure about the meds im on cant seem to get my dr. on the phone I have a quadruple bypass and a aorta replacement 10 years ago and had a heart attack 3 years ago mt dr changed my blood pressure meds from lisinipril to hydralazine 25 mg was wondering if these drugs is causing this also my pain meds was changed from loratab 10 to fentanyl 75 mg well I see its all about the money not the care of the patient sorry to have bothered you
Hydralazine can cause increase of heart rate. It dilates the blood vessels... Abrupt withdrawal of beta blockers could do this.... Fentanyl is more effective than loratab for pain...
The limited information provided is not sufficient enough to arrive at an appropriate conclusion and further suggestion... / You have not stated your personal habits, family history, or co-morbidities, even age or gender...which could influence the diagnosis and outcome...
Get yourself examined.../ basic tests may be needed... The treating doctor alone can suggest further based on his assessment of the situation.
Take care Wishing speedy recovery God bless Good luck
