Experiencing Sore Feet In The Mornings, Pins And Needles Sensation In Hands. Blood Test Normal. Suggestions?
Hi , I'm a 62 yrs male. For over the past 18 months I've been experiencing very sore feet most mornings . Some times far worse than others. I'm over weight by 15 kilos, and find due to sore feet I'm unable to walk the weight off. I've started eating better. But are frustrated by not being able to walk very far with out increasing the problem next day. I can walk for a 1/2 hour but not without the on set of pain . Also I'm getting pins and needles in my hands quite often , working at a desk all day is not helping ever . Had blood levels checked recently . No problems. Thanks in advance. Ian
The sore foot is due to stress to the joints because of excess weight. Weight loss to ideal weight may be the permanent solution. But symptomatic relief can be attained by rest, physiotherapy and analgesic.
Pins and needles in the hand may be due to Carpal tunnel syndrome because of pressure to the nerves which may be due to long hours of work on the desk.
Analgesic may provide symptomatic relief but surgical release of the pressure of the compressed nerves is the real treatment.
