Extra Heart Beat, ECG Showed Ventricular Ectopy, Advised Holder Monitor. Is Surgery Required?
Hi, In dec 2011 end , I felt there was some extra beat in my heart . My ECG has shown some ventricular Ectopy. I am taking revelol 25mg. ECHO , TMT didnt found any problem. Recently Dr has suggested me to go for Holder Monitor to diagonise. I am little confused, Whether i would need to for any surgery or it can be controlled through tablets itself....Thanks, RG.
Hi there...
Respected HCM member ectopic beats should be evaluated by applying holter monitoring, often they are harmless but if someone experience dizziness, fainting associated with missed beat than according to cause drugs are prescribed and surgey is not done.
Regards.
