Face Feels Numb, Tingles On Tougue, Sore Heads, Tired. Why This Is Happening?
I have woke up this morning, and the left hand side of my face feels numb, when I smile the left hand side goes considerably higher than my right, the right just stays the same. Last night I had tingles on my tounge, recently I have had incredibly sore heads, I am always tired. I am of average weight and I am only 22 and ideas on why this has happened
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Facial numbness, tingling on tongue and sore head can be due to viral infection (herpese zoster) or facial palsy. It may be triggered by any inflammation or irritation of nerves or any damage by trauma. These condition are usually treated with corticosteroid and antiviral drugs i.e acyclovir.
These condition may resolve by their own, you should take rest and avoid stress.
Contact your doctor for further management.
Hope it helps.
Take Care!
