Feeling Fatigued After The Intake Of Diovan

I am on coreg, lasix, norvasc. In addition, I was on benicar but my insurance company will not pay for it. My MD put me on diovan instead and I am feeling much more fatigued than usual. Could the switch to diovan be the cause? Do all BP meds cause fatigue? Thanks.

Hello! Thank you for asking on HCM! You are right, high BP medications do sometimes exert that side effect. I recommend you to closely monitor your BP, as an exaggerated hypotensive effect may occur. So keep monitoring frequently your BP daily, and with the recorded values discuss with your doctor to modify your high BP therapy scheme at the most effective regimen (avoiding potential side effects).
Hope to have been helpful to you. Greetings! Dr. Iliri
