Feeling Hungry Quite Often & Bloating Of Stomch

During the last couple of weeks I have felt really hungry all the time and constantly bloated with gas. I put it down to my period being due but as I have had to change from one contraceptive pill to another without the 7 day break I have obviously not had a period. I did a home pregnancy test as I have only ever felt this hungry before when I was pregnant. The test was negative (but it was also negative when I was pregnant with my son!) What could it be?

Hello,

You should go for Beta HCG tomorrow to confirm the pregnancy. If needed, get a USG also. Feeling hungry may be because your dieting or more exercise.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sunita Kothari, OB & GYN Specialist
