Hello. thanks for asking from HCM.

I can understand your concern. You have evaluated your symptoms very well. As you know that your headache and eye complaints come when you develop nose blockade or clogging, it is due to sinusitis.

Frontal sinusitis can give rise to such symptoms. This mucus thickening is actually edema of sinus mucosa (layer) or nasal layer. It blocks the opening of sinus and further increase the edema. It all leads to headache mainly around eyes, heaviness in head, pain increase during daytime/cold environment/bending forward, relief in pain on taking steam/hot bath/hot beverages.

For relief, you can follow few tips
: Avoid cold environment.
: Steam inhalation 4 to 5 times daily.
: take Paracetamol, Cetrizine and Xylometazoline combination after proper prescription.
: take antibiotic course like co-amoxyclav after proper prescription.

If still no relief, consult doctor.

Thanks. Hope it will help you. Take care.
