Fell, Hurt Lower Lip, No Stitches, Got Lump Under The Skin. Is There Anything I Can Do?

I fell about three months ago and bit threw my lower lip. No stitches as they did not want it to scare anymore. It looks pretty good, bit has a good size lump under the skin. Sometimes tingles, sometimes hurts and that part of my lip feels numb. Is there anything I can do

Hi

See when you get any injury or cut to the skin, there is always a chance that the nerves supplying the skin can also get damaged in the process.
This can lead to numbness in the skin later on.
Now I'm most of the cases, the nerve diaper tend to regrow slowly and thereby there is return in normal skin sensations.
For better and early healing, oral supplements or nerve tonics like vitamin b 12 can be given to the patient.
