Felt A Prick In The Finger. Noticed Foreskin Was Gone. Infected With HIV Or Hepatitis?

Hi,
I was in New Delhi, and one day, was walking in a crowded mall when I felt a prick or strong vibration on my left hand's index finger. It was just a prick and strong vibrating sensation, but no pain at all. I later noticed that some of the foreskin was gone, though. Could it be a possibility that I have been infected with HIV or Hepatitis, etc? Maybe the person used an infected needle to transmit the infection?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.

That is very very rare possibility.
If the individual is a HIV positive individual and if he pricked himself just a minute ago and if it had been pricked on you, then there may be a little chance to get infected with HIV.
Mostly it wouldn't have taken place.
Nobody do like that purposefully. Even if it is so, the blood should be wet at the time of prick, otherwise HIV particles would not have survived. Even if it contains wet infected blood the also the chance is 30/10000 exposures only as per CDC Atlanta.
So don't imagine this odd possibility. You will not get disease in this way.
