Female 33 Yrs. Cerebral Four Vessels DSA At 16 Yrs

Female 33 yrs. Cerebral Four Vessels DSA at 16 yrs old: Right Vertebral Arteriogram- Selective injection shows marked tortuosity at the basilar artery at the level of the pons. The artery at this level appears ectatic and larger than either at the proximal or distal segments. However, I do not believe this presents an aneurysms since there is no focal bulge or neck present. The reason for this tortuosity and retraction posteriorly into the pons is uncertain. No definite arteriovenous malformation or other vascular malformation is demostrated. There is some tortuosity of the origin of the left posterior cerebral artery. Left Vertebral Arteriogram: exactly the same... IMPRESSION: Retraction and ectasia of the mid basilar artery at the level of the pons without definite evidence of an aneurysm or other vascular malformation. At June 2012 after symptons of a complicated migrain vs TIA a intracranial CT angiography was performed. Findings: The intracranial internal carotid arteries are unremarkable. The circle of Willis is complete with patent anterior and posterior communicating arteries. No aneurysms or stenosis visualized. The basilar artery presents a 360 degrees hairpin tortuosity at its midportion without aneurysms. No brain enhancing lessions were demostrated. The gray white matter differentiation is normal. The ventricular system and cortical sulci are normal. IMPRESSION: Basilar artery marked tortuosity as described with 360 degrees loop and Patent circle of Willis. Should I be worried? Posible future implications... After what happens in 2012 I felt a little scare about this and when should I need to perform another study to follow up this congenital findings.
