Fever, Chills, On Vitamin C, Fever Subsided, Tiredness, Chest Rattling, White Phlegm On Coughing, Contagious Infection ?

Hi, I had a fever 48 hrs ago (felt hot with chills). Started taking Vit C in tab form. 24 hrs later, no fever, still felt a little tired, but last night while in bed I heard rattling in my chest . No pain , no sore throat , some coughing, off-white phlem. Two questions: what is the source of rattling, and am I contagious?

rattling kind of breathing is not a good symptom in presence of fever with chills, you might require a X Ray chest and a course of antibiotics
consult a General physician at earliest
