Fever Slightly Reduced After Taking Tylenol, Applying Ice Pack. Suggestions To Reduce Temperature?

My 13 year old daughter had a fever of 104.2 at 4:30. She took an extra strenght tylenol and is drinking water. We apoplied an ice pack to her forehead as well. No other symptoms. At 5:30 it was down to 103.7. I will check again at 6:30. Anything else I can\should do to reduce it to a safer level short of a cool bath.

Give tepid sponging > thin towels soaked in water at ROOM TEMPERATURE are wrapped around the limbs. One side at one time and repeat the process in 10 to 20 minutes - they will become warm. - this time, apply on the other side ..(some times, we can apply on all four limbs at the beginning) > Larger area is thus covered unlike the head / Very cold water (ice) constricts the blood vessels - reduces blood flow to skin - cooling can not occur...
See your GP - he can find the cause, look for complications and so on. He will know seasonal and local causes better
