Fever, Sore Throat, White And Sticky Clumps On Tonsils, Ear Pain, Swelling. How To Relieve Pain?

Hi. I dont have a cold but had a sudden fever on thurday and a sore throat by the end if the day. The next morning I checked my tonsils have white sticky clumps on them and its extremely swollen and now my ears hurt as well. I took motrin which would relieve the pain for about 6 hours but it didnt make it go.away and its now tuesday and the pain only seems to be getting worse

I have gone through your query regarding fever, sore throat and white sticky clumps on tonsils along with it there is pain in your ears also.
Considering your complaints I suspect that you are suffering from acute follicular tonsillitis with referred otalgia, You are taking medication but not getting much relief. I would like to suggest you to take broad spectrum antibiotic anti inflammatory, cough syrup and warm saline gargling to get relief.
Since it is an infective disease so please do these basic investigations-
(1) Blood - CBC, ESR, Blood sugar ( f & PP ).
(2) Culture && sensitivity of throat swab.
(3) X-Ray chest in P.A. view.
