Fevers Due To Cold, On Medication For Cold, Complains Of Leg Pain. What Causes This Pain ?
Hello,
Last week my son had a fever maybe because he had colds but now the fever went away. He has still colds right now and continue taking the meds for colds. My only concern is, for the last two days when he wakes up,he complain about leg pain. He has difficulty in walking but fortunately he could manage it slowly. Why is he having this leg pain? What causes of this pain?

Most healthy kids recover from the flu without any serious problems. Fever , muscle aches , pain iin limbs ( legs ) usually last only 2 to 4 days, but cough and tiredness can continue for 1 to 2 weeks or more. You should not worry it will settle in few days as the symptoms of flu disappear it in few days.

1.rheumatic fever
2.nephrotic and nephritc syndrome with leh pain
3.post sore throat myalgia
see a paediatrician if he feels the same pain
