Fibroids, Uterus In Front Of Abdomen, Pressure On Bladder, Going Through Menopause. Advised Hysterectomy. Can Undergo Tummy Tuck?
Hi Doctor, I went to the OB/GYN yesterday and the PA sugested I have a Hysterectomy. I have many fibroids and she said my uterus is sitting in the front of my abdomen, it putting pressure on my bladder. I am going through menopause now. No period for over a year. after the surgery will I sleep well without hotflashes, will I be moody/depressed? Will my abdomen be flat ever? If I want to get a tummy tuck, when after a hysterectomy should I get one? Thank you so much. -44 and a little scared-
your gynaecologist is absolutely correct in advising u for hysterectomy...since u have attained menopause i would suggest you for a harmone replacement therapy under medical supervision..u consult your doc for this replacement therapy which would relieve your symptoms of hot flushes and mood disorders...and for your tummy tuck operations u need to talk to gynaecologist and concerned surgeons if you are medically fit for 2 surgeries at a time then they might advice u on that and proceed further..
