I'll be on depo provera for two months. On the 16th of December I started my period on the 10th & bleed up until today. I am having a yellowish discharge it's not a lot it doesn't hurt itch smell it's not think or contain any lumps. I was also inimate yesterday.
While using hormonal contraceptives, it may take few months for regularization of reproductive hormones. During that period some amount of fluctuation can be seen in the menstrual flow pattern. This may subside soon. If it persists, you may need to change the contraceptive method.
Usually physiological discharge will be either watery or mucoid. Yellowish discharge may indicate pathological discharge sometimes. As Depo provera doesn't give direct protection towards infections, if the discharge persists better to get evaluated. By clinical examination, the exact nature of the discharge can be identified and treatment can be planned accordingly.
