Flu Left With Dry, Ticklish Throat, Occasional Phlem, Cough With Chest Pain Whenever Cough. Suggestions?

hello I had the common flu around 2 weeks ago but have been left with an aggravating cough that is very dry and tickles my throat its very irritating as I feel I cant breathe these happen is spurts and I have had phlem in a few occasions. I just want it to go away as I can feel these coughing spurts coming along and it hurts my chest when I cough as I feel I need to get air :(

Hello. Thank you for writing at HCM. Could you tell me do you have a history of asthma? Sometimes common flu(as we call it) can leave the respiratory tract inflamed mimicking asthma. So go to a local doctor and he would advice you am expectorant and an anti inflammatory. That should help you within a few days. Hope this helps you.
