Follicular Study Showing Ruptured Egg. Blood Test Negative For Pregnancy. Why Am I Not Getting Periods?

my last monthly period was on 11-8-2012 and i took follicular study and saw that my egg got ruptured in the 21st day and we waited till 22-9-2012 and took a blood test for preganacy conformation but the result was negative why it came as negative? and if the egg is not fertilized then i should have got the next period but for me periods did not came why?

The delay in your periods with a negative pregnancy test could be due to a mild hormonal disturbance or anxiety and stress. Even if an egg is formed and ruptures, chances of fertilisation are not more than 20%.
