SIR,--------------------I AM SIXTY FIVE AND TAKING TRIPRIDE-2 TABLETS --ONE TAB IN MORNING AND ONE IN NIGHT AND ONE ROZUCOR-2 TABLET IN NIGHT TO CONTROL DIABETES AND CHOLESTROL FOR LAST TWO MONTHS AND THINGS ARE UNDER CONTROL. SHOULD I CONTINUE THESE EVEN IF I AM NOW GETTING NORMAL BLOOD REPORT. THANK YOU. --DDATTA.

Hi Welcome to HCM

It is good to know that your Cholestrol and diabetes are under control with present medication .
My suggestion is , if you want to discontinue medication , can do it under guidance of your treating doctor .
Pervention is better than cure .
You have to take care on diet control salt free , fat free sugar free diet .
Avoid fast foods , tea coffee ,alcohol / tention ,worry and anxiety .Take veg soups fruit -guava ,apple ,bilva karela and its juice , lot of fibers , protein , green dal , brown rice to be included .

A tspoon ful methi seeds powder with water in the morning
A level spoon of turmeric powder with a cup of hot milk at bed time 1-2 hour after dinner .
, Do your exercise , yoga, pranayam , deep breathing and Walk regularly , according to your capacity . Will strengthen you from inside out for controlling weight & proper functioning of lever , heart , kidney , pancreas
Meditation will also help
Never forget 'constipation is mother of all ills '
