For The Last 2 Weeks I've Been Experiencing A Sharp

For the last 2 weeks I've been experiencing a sharp pain really low down on my back on the right side. It's so low it's almost my buttock. It's hurt with everyday movement and breathing in deeply or coughing. Sometimes the pain is felt going down my leg to my thigh and round the front to my pelvis area, but these 2 areas aren't sharp they are more a ache. Any idea if i need to visit my doctor? Thank you
