Forgot To Clean The Injection Site And Push Vit B12 Out Of Syringe Before Injection

I forgot to clean an injection site and forgot to push the VitB12 out of the syringe prior to the injection into my quadriceps muscle. I did push the B12 to the top of the syringe to ensure that I received the full dose, but forgot to shoot a little out. Is there a need for concern?

Thank you for asking!
Vitamin B12 is an injection both used intra muscular and intra venous. Pushing back is necessary in the injections where Intravenous use might lead to trouble like lidocaine anesthetics or risk of hematoma. And not cleaning the site before injection is a bad habit but not a lethal act to repent on and start being concerned. Its all right. Watch out for hematoma which is the worst case scenario. Otherwise chill out.
Good Luck
