Found Two Itchy Hard Lumps Under The Scalp, One With Opening Similar To A Bite. Reason For Lumps? Suggestions?

This morning I woke up and discovered two hard lumps under the skin of my scalp. One is at the top and is hard, the other is near the occipital one on the right side. They slightly itch. One has a "cut" or opening, leading me to believe it is a possible bite? The other has no open spots near or on it. What might this be?

Hello,
Welcome to health care magic.
From your description it seems that you may have scalp folliculitis or a lice ibdestation. Folliculitis is an infection of the hair follicle and is common on the scalp. Please confirm it by showing to your doctor.
You need a course of antibiotics for the same. If it is secondary to lice, you will need a pediculocidal lotion once a week.
Hope this helped.
Take care.
