Free Fluid By My Left Ovary. Have Endometriosis, History Of Chylumidia, Herpes And Miscarriage. Chances Of Conception?

Hello I went for a pelvic ultrasound scan and a transvaginal. Everything was but an amount of free fluid was found in my pouch of Douglas. And I was Also told during an sti check that I have endometriosis but they say my cervix is normal aswell as my ovaries I hav regular cycle when I had the scan I was ovulating from my right ovary. Then today I had another scan to see if the free fluid had gone. As they said it could be down to ovulation there is no more free fluid in my pouch of Douglas they said it has moved to my left side now by my ovary so I need to see a gynecologist soon I guess I'll be having more tests. I am really worried on why I have these problems. I've had chylumidia in the past got tested straight away I have had herpes but I don't get recurrent breakouts so that's good I get recurrent Bacterial vaginiosis. Which I've been on antibiotics for. I've been pregnant before , miscarried. And had a termination a few years ago I haven't been sexually active since August. But I want a baby. And I am worried about being infertile. And I am worrying about the free fluid and endometriosis . Please cAn you help me. ? Katherine.

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these findings that have raised concerns with you. There is so much more than goes on in terms of becoming pregnant than tests can actually predict. You have been pregnant before and you can still become pregnant. It takes time and actually being exposed trough regular intercourse to get pregnant. Get regularly involved and see what comes up.

The endometriosis, chlamydia infection, etc make the chances of becoming pregnant not as great as in someone without a similar past. However, it cannot tell who would get pregnant and who wouldn't. Don't even get worried about al what these tests may imply. Only get worried if you fail to conceive after at least 1year of regular exposure.

I hope you find this helpful and it addresses your query fully. Thank you so much for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. I wish you the best of health.
