Frequent Cold Sores On Genitals, Lops, Done HSV Test. Any Tests To Detect Presence Of Genital Herpes?

I am confused with my HSV results. Please help..I have no outbreaks on my genitals, never had...I do keep getting cold sores on my lips or nose area every few months or so, whenever i have a cold. I am just concerned about genital herpes , is there any other results I can do to determine whether or not I have genital herpes? As i said, i never had an outbreak. HSV 1+2 IgMAB Herpes Simples, serum by EIA - Negative 0.56 (Negative: 0.0 to 0.8 ratio; Borderline: 0.8 to 1.1 ratio; Positive: 1.1 Ratio) HSV 1&2 IgG, serum by CLIA - Positive 26 (Negative: 1.1 index)

Dear friend, welcome to HCM!

Your tests indicate past infection with herpes viruses 1 and 2.
These are common for lip lesions during febrile illness/ cold etc.
You may need antiviral cream (acyclovir) during the crops on lips.

Genital herpes will also have similar crops of lesions on the genitals.
No other test is necessary.
