Frequent Lightheadedness, Blackout On Standing And Walking, EKG Normal. What Could Be The Possible Causes?

My 14 year old son keeps getting light headed and feels like everything is turning black when he stands and walks.went to er they think its orthostatic hypotension do to dehydration .his bp sitting was 134/80 standing was 121/79.labs were goog ekg was good. The episode he had today really scared him he thought he was going to pads out.he got really pale

First you have to ensure that this incident has happened only once or not. If it is recurring, further tests and investigations might be required. If it is for the first time, with the tests you did, you might ignore it. Because child of 14 years do feel a bit nervous when something essential body mechanism happen, like excess sweating, palpitation etc,. Such happening creates anxiety and this anxiety might trigger dizziness etc for a short period.
