Frequent Urination, Urinating Less. Inguinal Gland Swelling, Severe Mensuration Cramps. Are They Related?

I AM 24 YEARS OLD GIRL I AM HAVING A PROBLEM OF URINATING FREQUENTLY AND URINATING LESS( LIKE IN 1-2 HOUR), ALSO IF I TRIED NOT TO URINATE FOR A HALF AN HOUR AFTER HAVING THE FEEL OF URINATION THAN WHILE URINATING I FEEL A KIND OF SENSATION IN WHOLE BODY????..I AM ALSO HAVING A SMALL INGUINAL GLAND SWELLING FROM PAST 3 MONTHS. THIS URINATION PROBLEM IS OCCURRING FROM PAST 1 YEAR. ALSO I HAVE SEVERE MENSTRUATION CRAMPS DOES THIS HAVE ANY RELATION? ...INITIAL CERVICAL IS ALSO THEIR ..PLEASE TELL ME WHY I AM GETTING THIS ??/

Thanks for posting your query. There are few issues to address here.

1. Urinary urgency.
The commonest reason is an infection. See your doctor who can test and treat you for this. If its not due to an infection, your doctor may ask you to fill in a bladder diary to arrive at a diagnosis. This is what we call as "Overactive Bladder".Bladder irritants need to be avoided in your diet and your fluid intake will be advised accordingly to manage this condition.You may also need medications.

2.Inguinal swelling may be a lymph gland enlargement which commonly happens in response to an infection in the legs, lower vaginal or rectal area. If its painful you may need antibiotics after locating the source of infection.

3.Menstrual cramps are pretty normal. But if it causes undue pain, you can take pain killers safely with doctors advice. You may also need a scan to look for any problems in the uterus or ovaries.
