Friend Passed Away. Had Seizures, Outbursts. Brown Fluid Came From Nose And Ear. What It Could Be?

my friend passed away he had health problems but the most prominent was inhaling duster, he was very erratic for months had small seizures, outbursts, he died while in bed he was found on his floor, today I cleaned his room, and where he layed for several hours throughout the night some sort of dried brownish fluid was coming from his nose and ear, it did not look like dried blood, there was a fair amount and it was more light brown, yellowish any idea of what it could have been, there has been an autopsy but no report back yet
