From Pictures, I Think It Is Right Rho,bound Muscle That

From pictures, I think it is right rho,bound muscle that is hurting ( four weeks) and I get no relief after trying everything in my medicine cabinet- I.e. Muscle relaxer, arthrotec, Tylenol, rub on pain OTC mr. I see doctor in morning. Any idea what may cause this, do steroids help? I have had 3 lamenectomies ( all successful), 70 years old. This is mot as bad as sciatica was, but hurts all the time. thank you , Sandi
