Hello,
Thanks for writing to us.
The spacing between front teeth is due to high frenal attachment resulting in midline diasthema.
In such cases, frenectomy has to be done initially to relieve your frenal attachment.
Z-springs along with orthodontic appliances are placed in such cases.
To prevent tongue thrusting habit, tongue cribs are given.
Without using orthodontic treatment, the defect cannot be corrected.
Tongue cribs/z-springs are placed palatally/lingually.
Maintain good oral hygiene.
Please try to close your mouth properly while sleeping.
Hope this helps.

hi there
thanks for asking your query

gaps in teeth could be of multiple reason like high labial frenum attachment, tongue thursting, periodonal issue causing loosening of teeth creating gaps
other cause of gap in your case could be your lost teeth in arch,an empty space created by tooth loss in an arch cause drifting of adjacent teeth towards empty area creating gap in teeth,so as you extract your teeth it should be replaced
consult the dentist for possible treatment to close your gap
maintain good oral hygiene
try to stop your tongue thursting habit
thanks

Hi,

Thanks for asking the query,

Gap in between the front tooth is midline diaestema is mainly due to abnormal labial frenum attachment.
Such type of cases required a surgical procedure known as frenectomy before or during the procedure, it is treated with the help of orthodontic brackets.
Removable applainces can also be used along with z- spring.
I would suggest you to visit the Orthodontist and get the checkup done take an OPG x-ray
and discuss the treatment plan.
Maintain a good oral hygiene.

Hope this helps out.

Hello there ,

Thanks for writing your query,

Gaps in between the upper front teeth is called MIDLINE DIASTEMA.

It is caused due to thick labial freenum separating the two teeth apart or highly attached freenum.

Freenum relief can be done by freenectomy.

Midline distema can be treated cosmetically by light cure composite restotaions provided the gap is small ana manageble.

Prostheic crown coverage over the front two teeth can also be done to minimize the gap.

exact diagnosis can be made only after clinical examination and evaluation by taking radiographs

so please consider getting the treatment done by consulting a dentist.

i hope this helps ,

take care.
