sorry to hear your problem but gastroparesis is not a big thing . its one of the complications of diabetes . like the sensory loss in foot this is a sensory loss in intestines which due to autonomic neuropathy. simply the intestines do not feel the stretching of its walls so that they can contract to propel its contents ( eg. motion ) so they may have constipation etc. so tight control of diabetes and some neurotropic vitamins will help her, but will take months to get a relief . keep in touch

Hello,
I really feel sorry for your daughter as well as for both of you.May god bless you  and your daughter to cope up with your hardships.
Gastroparesis  is a disease of the muscles of the stomach or the nerves controlling the muscles that causes the muscles to stop working. It is a type of neuropathy where food is delayed from leaving the stomach.
This nerve damage can be caused by long periods of high blood sugar.
Delayed digestion makes the management of diabetes more difficult.
Gastroparesis usually is treated with nutritional support, drugs for treating nausea and vomiting, drugs that stimulate the muscle to contract, and, less often, electrical pacing, and surgery.
....Take small frequent meals.
....Take more of liquid diet
....avoid high fatty and high fibre diet.
....Drugs for nausea, vomiting and stomach contractions like METOCLOPRAMIDE,DOMPERIDONE and CISAPRIDE are used.
....take insulin often and after the meals and not before meals.

If these approaches do not work, you may need surgery to insert a feeding tube. The tube, called a jejunostomy tube, is inserted through the skin on your abdomen into the small intestine.By avoiding the source of the problem (the stomach) and putting nutrients and medication directly into the small intestine, you ensure that these products are digested and delivered to your bloodstream quickly.

It is important to note that in most cases treatment does not cure gastroparesis, since  it is usually a chronic condition. Treatment helps you manage gastroparesis, so that you can be as healthy and comfortable as possible.
I hope it helps.
Best of luck
Thanks
