Gestational Sac Still Existing After Taking The MTP Pills. No Bleeding. Advice?

I had done mtp scan and took oral pills at 5 weeks. Bleeding happened but a repeat scan shows the sac still exists. D&C didn't help either, as the sac is somehow attached to the utereus and the doc was scared to damage it further. So she pushed cytology but 2 days now and no bleeding. Some white spot discharge is seen. Pls advice

Hello

If the sac cannot be curetted by dilatation and curettage a cytological examination is mandatory.

If you have had a caesarean section, and the implantation has occurred in the scar there is chance of such a case.

If you have any uterine anomaly there is still such a possibility.

Otherwise a gestational trophoblastic disease has to ruled out by a cytology.
