getting lightheaded and heart is beating fast when I stand too long Everytime I stand up for a long period of time, especially if I'm holding something (such as a child), my heart beats fast, and I get lightheaded to the point where I have to sit down or I feel like I'm gonna pass out. Should I be worried about this?

You should be..and get a complete heath check up done along with blood investigations. You might be anemic or having venous pooling effectthat is causing you to have such symptoms.
