Getting Pimples And Black Marks After Using Cosmelite Cream. Any Other Good Complexion Cream?

hello, I m using Cosmelite cream for almost 2 yrs. It gave me a good complexion. I was really doing good for the year and half, Last 6 months i started getting pimples and now it getting worse. I got lots of black marks and pimples around my face. I stopped using it for the past 1 week. Please suggest cream which give fairer result.

Cosmelite cream contains a potent steroid, mometasone. It should never be used on face for long because a potent steroid like mometasone can cause the skin of face to become photosensitive, Acne ridden and thinned out with telangiectasias. Females can also have facial hair growth which is an additional problem. Therefore I would advice that you stop using cosmelite as soon an possible.

I would advice that you use a broad spectrum sunscreen, throughout the day till your skin returns back to the previous condition.

Use a gentle cleanser like cetaphil for face wash.

For Acne you could use a clindamycin gel for day time application and benzoyl peroxide gel for night time application.

You may also benefit from oral doxycycline 100mg twice daily for a few weeks.

Therefore I would advice that you see a dermatologist for a proper discussion and treatment regarding your problem.
