General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
I have gone through your query and understand your concern.

As you have the family history of heart disease, you are more prone for heart disease.
Further you have hypertension, these two necessitates to investigate the cause for your chest pain.

You need to get examined by your treating physician and he may check your blood pressure and pulse and auscultate the heart sounds to look whether you are clinically normal.
Further he may ask you to do investigations like Electrocardiogram, Echocardiogram, Treadmill test and some routine blood investigations.

If all these are normal, then these chest pain may be due to gastritis or musculoskeletal pain like costochondritis.
He may take history of belching and the relation of these chest pain with food and breathing.

Depending upon the cause, he may start treatment for you. For example, if he suspects it due to Musculoskeletal pain, he may prescribe some pain killers and advice you to take rest.
If he think of gastric ulcer or gastritis, he may give antacids and antiemetics.

Hope this helps.
Please write back for further queries.
Wishing you good health.
