Getting Side Effects From Synthroid, Dizzyness, Erratic Blood Pressure, Blurred And Double Vision.
my mother is having all kinds of side effects from synthroid we think. Dizzyness , nausea ,erratic blood pressure ,blurred and double vision,nausea....etc. her md prescribed 50 mcg of synthroid a couple of years ago and it seems she hasnt been the same since. shes actually on a generic for synthroid. he gave her this dosage and has never adjusted or even tweaked it any at all. she is so tired of all this she is just ready to quit it. are there better tests than the standard blood test for these levels? any help appreciated she is miserable!
Dear ma'm, synthroid is not usually known to cause these side effects. Still , I think please let me know her TSH and FT4 levels at what she started synthroid and what are her present values. Only after that we can decide whether she should continue or did continue the drug and whether her symptoms can be attributed to synthroid at all. regards!
