Going To Do Hysterectomy. Does That Affect In Having Orgasm And In Vaginal Health?

I am about to have a hysterectomy and wondering about how removing the cervix may or may not affect intercourse? I always thought that an orgasm comes from the cervix...if it is gone, how would an orgasm occur. If cervix is removed...what is it like in the inside of the vagina? Is it just a tied off knot? Is there still that pillowy texture at the end of the vagina? How will the vaginal walls stay or get lubricated not only for intercourse, but just to stay healthy? Where does that lubrication come from? Thank you!

Infertility Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

Following is my reply:

1) Hysterectomy is not going to affect your orgasm or sex life in anyway.

2) Vaginal walls will be approximated together. Hence no need to worry. Vagina will be as it was
