Good afternoon.
I will try to be as detailed and concise as possible.
I am 37 , female, I am overweight (several years ago I lost 75lbs-but in the last 3 years I gained back 60) , I am lower lumbar degenerate disc disease , a heel spur in my right foot, a gap in my left SI joint, and chronic atypical migraines that I have had since the age of 12 and take depakote ER 250mg BID for about the last 15 years.
2 weeks ago I had a small break thru migraine. Not debilitating but definitely migraine related. This is not uncommon as hormone fluctuation and my sometimes non compliance of taking my med sometimes causes this to happen. However, since then I have had left side pain. Headache. Neck pain. Shoulder joint Achiniess and also dull aching in my left arm and leg intermittently. Sometimes dull chest pain/pressure. Nothing sharp. I saw my neurologist and she suggested maybe sequela from the migraine, or occipital neuralgia or possibly just something from changing my gate to stay off the heel spur. Not knowing which caused which she perscribed PT for my neck, a Medrol dosepak and an MRI for peace of mind. My last was 3 years ago. While on the steroid , I felt fantastic. Headache gone. Heel spur much less painful. But now that the med is over I feel the same. I guess I'm just looking for direction. I have not done the PT or the MRI yet and some labs haven't been done yet. Also, when I walk too much my left foot goes numb. That's my good foot! I guess I'm just looking for direction. Where to now? Thanks!
