Good evening. I’m presenting with what another woman described. I just turned 58 and I have yellow crust that is sticky/gummy on pubic hairs after a day of urination. It also appears on panties. I do not however have any discomfort at all. Sex is painful, the walls of my vagina in particular. I have told my doctor about this for the last four or five months. Urine tests show no problem although I had a uti about four months ago which I took antibiotics for. I’m prone to UTIs. I was tested for STDs and gonorhea, confident I didn’t have them and I didn’t. I have become a sleuth because I want to solve this. Also, side note... around the same time as this starting my natural nails became severely dry and brittle, not at all what they have been my entire life. One other note ... I weaned myself off antidepressants, for which I’m proud, about the same time as all this started. I was on them almost 20 years. I have hypothyroidism since age 34 and take synthroid. No other meds. My doctor saw pictures of my nails before and after and told me to take Biotin which I do when I remember or feel like because I don’t believe that’s the problem or the solution. I am just under 5’10” and weigh 148. Thanks for your time.
