Got Bitten While Sleeping, Had Cough, Looks Flu Like Symptoms. Should Go For Treatment?

I got bitten last Wed. in my sleep . I woke up with 26 bites only where the blankets do not cover. I had a cough , and flu like symptons. They only lasted a day. :Lastnight I took a shower, and within 30min the symptoms were not only back bur worse. So much so I was unable to go to work. Shall I seek medical attention? The actual bite area seems to be a little better. Jacqueline
