Hello, I have got hyperpigmentation that is dark spots on my cheeks, both sides of the face, due to excessive sun exposure whiile travelling over 3 years now. I have tried various ointments recommended by doctors, but none was able to remove the dark spots completely. Recently i had used desonide cream which side affected by excessive hair growth on my cheeks and somehow i got rid of it, now dermatologist recommended me depiwhite cream to apply once before sleeping. please tell me will the depiwhite cream have any such side effects on my face as now i am scared to use any ointments on my face. also let me know that my earlobes have got a bit darkened, and dark irregular spots in the ear also which seems very bad. can i use depiwhite on my ears skin too? Thanks a lot for reading :)
Hello, Welcome to healthcare magic. Desonide is a mild topical steroid which over long term use can cause excessive hair growth. Depiwhite does not contain any steroid. However, it also should be used with caution under a dermatologist' s advice and supervision. It could be used on your ears also. I would also advise you to use a good sunscreen every 3 hours and also physically cover your face with a scarf while traveling. Hope this helps.
