Got New Puppy. Now Have Red Bumps On My Torso, Chest, Stomach. No Fleas, Bed Bugs. Bumps Look Like Hives, When Scratched Bleeds. Suggestions?
I got a new puppy, and a few days afterwards red bumps starting appearing sporadically on my back and has now come down to my torso, chest, stomach and upper leg region. I've cleaned the dog many times and I have found no fleas on him or in my house. I have white carpet and bedding too and have seen no fleas. I've checked for bed bugs and cannot find any. The bumps appear completely randomly throughout the day and are raised like hives or mosquito bites, and when scratched, the center of the raised region will starting bleeding slightly. I can't figure out what this is and it' driving me insane! It's so itchy!

Hello, Thanks for the query, If the bumps are transient and remain just for a day, it can be urticaria. Urticaria may not be related to any insect bite, It can develop even with contact with dog. The best way is try avoiding contact with dog for a few days and observe whether lesions appear. Treatment can be anti histamine tablets.
