Got Over Flu, Have Plugged Ears With Severe Echoing, Rapid Heart Beats. Relief Measures?
hi, i have just gotten over the flu , now my sinus are full, my ears have been plugged for 2 wks, i have tried the sinus gator nasel wash, antihistamines, anything and everything, dr did give me benzonatate which i have taken. both of my ears are plugged have severe echoing........ heart races really bad.......i have anxity problems and i cant breath my way thru these, like i normaly do........i have tried yawning, gum, swollowing hard......everything....how and what can i do to get some relief of my ears?

hello and welcome to HCM,
Two weeks is a long time to suffer and you should not suffer more!
Do the following:
1. A complete examination of the ear, nose and throat
2. Audiological examination including PTA and impedance to delineate your cause of ear fullness
3. Imaging study such as CT of the sinuses and Temporal bone to give a permanent solution to your problem
the further course of treatment will be determined by the test results
But do not panic which is probably why your heart is racing so much!
