Hi
Welcome to HealthcareMagic
Grades of placenta increase with duration of pregnancy. Its a normal thing. usually grade 3 maturity occurs after 36-37 weeks of pregnancy. If maturity of placenta occurs early in pregnancy it suggests there is intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) and it need to be investigated. More the grade there is more calcification in placenta and less blood supply to baby which may hamper its growth . Take care
