Greetings. I reside in Alabama and work as a college academic advisor. My mother, is an 85 year old African American. My father passed at age 68, 22 years ago, of a heart attack. High blood pressure runs on both sides of my family. For the past month or two my mother has been experiencing regular headaches, and has had a decreased appetite. When her head starts hurting, her blood pressure goes up. What may be causing this on a regular basis?
