HI Dr. I've been struggling with tics for years..vocal and physical They're making it hard to type now. I went to a neurologist on my birthday in January and believe I was misdiagnosed with having psychological tremors. I know that can happen. The doctor did not seem very communicative and it hurt because I've been waiting months to see a neurologist. I've seen both videos of tremors and tics, I've done research. I 'm smart, I know I'm not a doctor, but I really believe they are tics--tourette's even. I just need an accurate diagnosis, and they are very much symptoms of tics and not tremors. It's frustrating, because my test as he said did not match a patient with tremors and when I asked what symptoms tourette's patients experience, mine were very much like them because I've recorded myself. The neurologist just dismissed everything I had to say. I want to see someone who doesn't have a stereotype of tourette's. He said tourette's patients shout and say things, the extreme version of tics. Can anyone please help me? I really have no support..
