HPT Positive, Bleeding Lightly, Mild Cramps, Urine Is Negative, Blood Is Showing Positive. Confused
Hi ! I just found out that I was pregnant ith hpt , I did 2 tests which said I was positive three days later I statred bleeding lightly so I tgt it was spotting since it was common in early pregnancy, I did a hpt again n it showed positiveagain.. I had mild cramps and my bleeding has began lightly. Went to the er they said urine is negative but blood is showing positive, they send me for ultrasound but didn t see anything in there....am so confused ...how soon sholud I go to the dr again....
Hi, Thanks for the query. As three of your urine tests and one blood test is positive, there is possibility of pregnancy. Sometimes urine pregnancy test kit may give false negative result. For more details : http//srsree.blogspot.com/2012/05/pregnancy-tests.html And also ultrasound may not detect early pregnancy. Trans abdominal ultrasound may detect the pregnancy after 6 completed weeks and transferred vaginal ultrasound after 5 completed weeks. So better to consult gynecologist once and take tablets to control the spotting and to continue the pregnancy. Then after one or two weeks depending on the type of ultrasound you are choosing, go for review scan. Take care.
