Had URS Surgery, Inserted DJ Stent In My Ureter, Taking Painkiller. Can I Have Alcohol?

hello Sir/Madam I have undergone a URS surgery and doctors at that time have inserted a DJ stent in my ureter . they also asked me to take a few medicine like one painkiller and one antibiotic twice a day. I love to drink very much...can I have alcohol (whisky) after skipping my medicines or can i have just like that without disturbing my scheduled medicinal regime.

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Alcohol is not likely to interfere with the stent or the antibiotic.
Some pain killers have sedatives, which may potentiating the effects.
Alcohol is bad - for the liver, heart, nerves and so on - use this opportunity to stop it for ever

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
