Had A Dog Bite On Arm, Was Itchy, Painful. Now Tender Lump. Is It Cancerous?

hi, about 2 years ago i got bitten by a dog on my left arm it was swollen and black and blue and painful and itchy for weeks. eventually the swell-en went down but still itchy and painful for a while it came and go then i notice a lump right there which is tender when I touch it. the itchiness and pain has stop but the lump is still there and tenderness is as well should i be concerned is it cancerous of this lump. In the begging i felt like i had nerved damage. What should i do?

Take anti inflammatory medicine Ibuprofen 400 mg thrice a day after meals for 5 days. If it subsides then forget it. If it recurs consult doctor .
It is most likely non- cancerous and may just be knot (fibrosis) of the soft tissues in the bitten area
