Had A Flu Shot. Body Is Cramping And Unable To Sleep Due To Spastic Reactions. Anything Serious?

my sister in law just called with some pretty severe symptoms. Not knowing she had a flu shot, Wednesday of last week, she preceded to tell me how her (high blood pressure) is only 96/60 pulse is in the 80's and her body has been cramping up since Thursday. She cannot sleep at all for the cramping and spastic reactions in her body. She is a nurse, and I am and she called to express this discomfort. I advised her to go to the ER. She has no fever or body aches, just cramping of her whole body.

since your sister's blood pressure is low she might be having cramps in body due to decreased electrolytes in body .Ask her to take ORS powder-Mix one packet in one litre of drinking water and take 3-4 litre of it until her blood pressure rises near to normal levels around 110/70 atleast.Coconut water and fruit juices have high potassium content which will help in reducing cramps.Tomatoes are high in potassium.Almonds are high in Vitamin E which also helps in reducing cramps.C.Evion 400mg daily for 15 days will remove cramps.T Diclonac MR twice daily for 5 days can give symptomatic relief.
